Get acquainted with Benidorm, a city of great contrasts.
Sun, sea, beach and the typical Spanish cosiness. Benidorm has it all! You can laze on a sandy beach, settle down on one of the many terraces and stroll through the old city center. Benidorm is the most touristic place on the Costa Blanca, the tourist capital of Spain and has the highest number of hotel beds in Europe after London and Paris.
THE SIGHTS OF BENIDORM
Benidorm has two long sandy beaches: the Levante and the Poniente beach. Along these beaches is a pedestrian boulevard where many bars and restaurants can be found. While you eat, you look out on the boulevard and the sea. Are you crazy about shopping? Then walk to the lively main street, hidden behind the boulevard. There you can pick up your shopping heart in many nice shops and enjoy drinks at various entertainment venues.
The architecture of the seaside resort is characterized by many high-rise buildings, but you can also taste the typical Spanish atmosphere in the old city center. Stroll through narrow streets, relax on one of the terraces or enjoy the view from the unique balcony. From that point you look out on the beaches and a sloping rock, which is characteristic of Benidorm. Right next to this balcony is Mal Pas, a small and cozy beach.
